Ampliphae wins a place on Tech Nation Cyber 2.0

Ampliphae, the leading SaaS Management company, have been announced as one of the companies chosen for the Tech Nation Cyber 2.0 program.

Tech Nation Cyber 2.0 is the UK’s premier scale-up programme for ambitious cyber security companies, designed to accelerate growth for these companies at home and abroad. Backed by the UK Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS), the programme offers peer-to-peer learning, masterclasses led by expert scale coaches, meetups and an international trip organised in conjunction with the Department of International Trade (DIT). It will provide cyber security scaleups with invaluable skills, a powerful network – including peers, investors and potential clients – and the ability to implement changes to help their companies grow.

The announcement of Cyber 2.0 comes at a time when global businesses are grappling with the effects of COVID-19, which makes the need for cyber security even more acute. Ampliphae’s SaaS Management platform allows businesses to implement a robust governance strategy for SaaS adoption in the Cloud with sophisticated discovery, security and compliance capabilities. Ampliphae quickly finds all the SaaS applications in use in the organisation, continuously monitors adoption rates, discovers risks, and migrates users from non-compliant applications to approved ones.

“We’re hugely excited to join the Tech Nation Cyber programme, which comes at a time when every business in the world is in turmoil,” said Trevor Graham, CEO at Ampliphae. “In the current COVID-19 emergency everyone is scrambling to adopt SaaS applications to allow them to continue operating – for many, only the ease of adoption and scalability of SaaS has allowed them to absorb the shock of lockdown and enforced home working. But it is more important than ever to perform due diligence on the SaaS to be adopted, by implementing a robust discovery and governance process as your people transition away from the controlled safety of the corporate network to a much more ad-hoc IT environment at home. Ampliphae can ensure that compliance and security are maintained when your people are operating entirely in the public Cloud and outside of your physical premises.”

Mike Jackson, Entrepreneur Success Director, Tech Nation, commented: “The UK is already an acknowledged leader in cyber security, raising £7.8bn between 2015 and 2019, placing the UK third in the world for cyber after the US and China. In these unprecedented times that we face in light of COVID-19, there has never been a more important time to invest in and support innovative cyber solutions. At Tech Nation we are delighted to announce the second cohort of Cyber 2.0, to help unlock the growth potential for early-stage cyber scaleups.”
