Mobile World Congress, Barcelona, 28th February 2017 – Ampliphae, a Belfast-based technology company specialising in Cloud network analytics and control, today announced that it has joined the Intel® Network Builders program, which is designed to accelerate network transformation with the deployment and deployment of software-defined networking (SDN) and network function virtualization (NFV) solutions for telecommunications and data center networks.
Intel Network Builders connects service providers and end users with the infrastructure, software, and technology vendors that are driving new solutions to the market. The program offers technical support, matchmaking, and co-marketing opportunities to help facilitate joint collaboration from the discovery phase to the eventual trial and deployment of NFV and SDN solutions.
Ampliphae’s solution, delivered by Service Providers, uses advanced statistical analysis of network traffic flows, combined with machine learning techniques, to give Enterprises deeper insights and more control of cloud application adoption within their businesses. Ampliphae identifies, classifies and profiles all of the cloud applications being used across the Enterprise, and integrates with the Software Defined Network to automate the process of allocating network resources on a per-application basis, ensuring that business-critical cloud services are prioritized.
Trevor Graham, Ampliphae’s CEO, commented: “The Intel Network Builders Program provides us with a great opportunity to work with a broad ecosystem of technology providers to help us deliver on our vision of an agile, cloud-aware network that automatically and continuously adapts to the current and predicted use of cloud applications within the Enterprise. By approaching the SDN and NFV opportunity from an enterprise and cloud application perspective, our solution is highly complementary to the range of network-centric products and solutions offered by Intel’s Network Builder partners.
The Intel Network Builders program seeks to increase ecosystem alignment and build a strong and sustainable market advantage for its members through solution-centered ecosystem collaboration based on Intel® architecture. Today there are more than 200+ partners, a growing number of end user members and increasing opportunities for collaboration.
